Letters and News

In October 1970, Glenn Frank defied the court's "Gag Order" during the Ravenna Grand Jury investigation into the Kent State shootings. A selection of letters of support can be read here from people locally and nationally supporting his stance. These form the contents of "Support Letters Gag Order".

"News clippings" contain a variety of columns including editorials and other news items about Glenn. Some items are controversial.

In 1969, Glenn Frank was awarded the Kent State Distinguished Teaching Award, an honor bestowed on only a handful of the University's 1,000 faculty members. "Teaching" includes Professor Frank's awards, letters of congratulations from friends, students and faculty as well as letters from KSU President's Bowman, White and Olds.
